This is a livejournal dedicated to the fanfiction (by savyleartist) of Mozenrath, Lord of the Black Sands, Megara of Hercules, and their adventures, titled Black Amethyst.


Summary:

Mozenrath

Broken, and left for dead, with hardly any life left in him, Mozenrath is apporched by the deadly and beautiful Goddess of Chaos, Eris. She offers him a chance of power and magical rebirth is he follows in his mother's footsteps, and become her advocate. Not keen on the idea of being under some one's power again, Mozenrath agrees, and sets out, more dangerous and powerful than ever before.

Megara

Alone and unhappy, Megara finds herself in another go-no-where relationship. Her vision of a new happy adjusted her have long been shattered and is now looking at a bleak unhappy marriage to the half god Hercules and haunting nightmares of her past deeds and life. Ironically enough, when she meets the dark sorcerer Mozenrath, dose her black horizon brighten. But her previous master is not too keen on letting her go, even if she doesn't know it.

Thrown together by fate (or is it?) they travel together, on the run from gods and armies alike. Though cast out into hiding, they become freer than ever as they both battle with their tortured pasts, and deal with new surprises along the way. But there are still many secrets to be found. Why does Mozenrath sense that Megara is more powerful than even she knows? Why does Megara feel something is on her tail, following her where ever she goes? Who gave Mozenrath to Destane? And why is Eris so keen on Megara for no (apparent) reason?

As they find these answers to these and many more questions, three things are clear. They are both powerful. They both drive each other to the edge. And they both want revenge.
